CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Staff Sgt. Julianna Pinder talks to a Marine in the Headquarters and Support Battalion Family Readiness Office Nov. 6 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Every unit in the Marine Corps has a FRO. The FRO is in charge providing necessary support to the Marines and families to help maintain a state of family readiness. FROs do this by hosting events, keeping loved ones updated about their units and advising about different programs available.
