BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Soldiers with the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, receive coins from Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Hendrex, the senior enlisted advisor for the 3rd Infantry Division, and Maj. Gen. Leopoldo Quintas, the commander of the 3rd Inf. Div., for their participation in the Marne Week competitions during the organization day on Nov. 16 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Organization day is one of the remaining events of Marne Week, a celebration for Soldiers to compete in team sports and recreational group activities while honoring the division's service to the nation. This month marks the centennial anniversary of the Marne Division. Born out of World War I, the division has answered the nation's call for 100 years. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
