NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 25, 2017) – Members of the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) "Meet the Fleet" group from Mechanicsburg, Pa., gathered in the mess deck of the guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG-67), Oct. 25, for a brief and tour on the ship. The group learned more about the terrorist attack on Cole 17 years earlier, Oct. 12, 2000, and the sacrifices and bravery of the crew that day with commemorative reminder all over the mess deck to remind Sailors every day of their brothers and sisters lost in that attack in the sea of Aden, Yemen.
