Decontamination team members of the Idaho National Guard’s 101st Civil Support Team practiced a new personnel decontamination procedure called the wipe-spray-wipe method during a hazardous incident exercise on Gowen Field, Oct. 26. The unit conducted the exercise as part of their preparation for an upcoming proficiency evaluation in May, which will recertify them to respond to chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incidents as part of Idaho’s emergency response structure.
