PATROL BASE SHARK, Helmand province, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan – Corporal Daniel Blesi (right) goes over the projected route for the foot patrol with his staff sergeant outside the base April 27. The Tulsa, Okla., native is a squad leader with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment. The 22-year-old Union High School graduate is on his second deployment to Afghanistan and is in charge of 14 Marines.
