Every surgery, regardless of patient or procedure, prepares every member of the operating and post-op team for critical missions downrange. On average, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center’s eight surgical teams, which consist of the surgeon, circulating nurse, technician and anesthesiologist perform about 30 surgeries daily.
