ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 21, 2017) Marines assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit run on the flight deck of the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) while the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) transit in formation during a strait transit exercise. Oak Hill, components of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and the 26th MEU are conducting a Combined Composite Training Unit Exercise that is the culmination of training for the Navy-Marine Corps team and will certify them for deployment.
