The amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island pulls away from the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Robert E. Peary (T-AKE 5) during an underway replenishment with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde. The Whidbey Island and The Mesa Verde are deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
