Remains of a pig are recovered during a clandestine grave and human remains recovery training at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Nov. 14, 2017. Naval Criminal Investigative Service investigators and detectives hosted the training to enhance students’ skills while making the training as real as possible. The training was the first evolution of its kind to be offered by the NCIS and was open to base, local law enforcement and local county coroner offices. (Photo by Airman 1st Class Allison Payne)
