NMCB 26 was assisting its Army and Afghan counterparts after a wind storm knocked down part of the FOB's security fence. NMCB 26, comprised of Seabees from Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, is part of Task Force Overlord. The 25th Naval Construction Regiment, from Gulfport, Miss., is the command and control element for the task force, which is responsible for all construction engineering and engineering support in Southern, Southwestern and Western Afghanistan.
