U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Humberto Castro, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463, aircraft mechanic, pulls the blades to a Marine CH-53D Sea Stallion helicopter during a routine maintenance check, Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, May 3, 2011. The pulling of the blades allows the dampers to align in place, so that the dampers may assist the propeller in preventing it from swaying back and forth by guiding them while in flight.
