During the ceremony, Capt. Scott C. McClelland relieved Capt. Gilbert as commanding officer of NSF Redzikowo, the Navy’s newest installation and first in Poland. NSF Redzikowo provides the essential eight lines of operation in support of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia (EURAFSWA). EURAFSWA provides operational platforms ashore that enable U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed and when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
