CORONADO, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2017) A U.S. Navy Sailor's son waits on the pier to meet his father for the first time after the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) returned to Naval Air Station North Island, Dec. 5, 2017, in Coronado, Calif. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific.
