Capt. Brien Dickson, Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL) commanding officer, tours the Warfighter Performance Laboratory at the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) during a visit to learn more about the command and its facilities. The environmental chamber, which is used for human performance research, can simulate different operational environments with a temperature range of -23°F to 130°F. NHRC, a tenant command onboard NBPL, conducts research, development, testing, and evaluation to support the health and readiness of warfighters. (U.S. Navy photo by Regena Kowitz/Released)
