Kerry hosted an open forum with Balkh University students and met with Balkh province Gov. Atta Muhammad Nur as well as U.S. troops serving in northern Afghanistan during his battlefield circulation to Mazar-e Sharif. ISAF Regional Command North is one of six regional commands supporting the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in security, governance and development.
