Soldiers from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research participate in a Soldier Readiness Processing conducted by the 7250th Medical Support Unit at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Dec. 10, 2017. The 7250th Medical Support Unit is one of the many units that fall under the Army Reserve Medical Command. Functionally aligned to U.S. Army Medical Command, ARMEDCOM is uniquely capable of simultaneously providing military hospital and clinic expansion, augmentation, blood donor services, dental and veterinary services while remaining postured to rapidly provide assistance to civil authorities during an emergency or disaster.
