NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del. - Aircrew members perform pre-flight procedures on December 13, 2017. Eight aircrew members departed base on a C-130 Hercules aircraft for a multi-day flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Aircrew members representing the 166th Operations Group and 166th Aircraft Maintenance Group flew to Puerto Rico to pick up 36 members of the 1049th Transportation Company, Delaware Army National Guard, and transport the members back to Delaware. The 1049th went to Puerto Rico two months ago to provide assistance as part of relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt.
