171207-N-ZD254-001 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Dec. 17, 2017) Civilian mariners stationed aboard USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB 3) conduct training with a French roll-on/roll-off catamaran landing craft while deployed in support of Alligator Dagger. Alligator Dagger, led by Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Expedition Brigade, is a dedicated, bilateral combat rehearsal that combines U.S. and French forces to practice, rehearse and exercise integrated capabilities available to U.S. Central Command both afloat and ashore.
