NAGO, OKINAWA, Japan— Service members sing Christmas carols to a group of elderly residents Dec. 15 at the Okinawa Airakuen Sanatorium in Nago, Okinawa, Japan. Volunteers also brought freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and banana bread to be handed out to the residents of the sanatorium. Since 1938, the Nago Airakuen Sanatorium has been a convalescent home for leprosy patients or ex-leprosy patients. Volunteers travelled from across Okinawa to come and share their Christmas spirit with the elderly community of the sanatorium. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Danielle R. Prentice)
