The Military Cemetery on the former Fort McClellan was the site of a Wreaths Across America ceremony Dec. 16, 2017. Local Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops assisted family members of those interred in the placement of wreaths on each gravesite following remarks by Col. Joel Warhurst, commander of Anniston Army Depot. The depot has maintained the former post's cemetery since Fort McClellan closed in 1999.
