Sgt. 1st Class Nadejda Vorobyeva-Santiago radios for a medical evacuation of a simulated casualty as part of the 2017 Army Contracting Command Best Warrior Competition June 5 at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas. Vorobyeva-Santiago was one of seven Soldiers from throughout the command vying for the best warrior title over five days of competition and right to represent ACC at the Army Materiel Command level in July. She was named runner-up of the competition by ACC officials during a ceremony June 9 at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She is a contracting noncommissioned officer with the 413th Contracting Support Brigade at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
