This product was created for Marine Week Detroit that took place Sept. 6-10, 2017, Detroit is a very industrialized city and in turn has a large past history with Art Deco designs, which is described as modernism turned into fashion using man-made subjects and materials. The Osprey represents the Marine Corps and modernism. The background is made with various shapes to represent the city of Detroit to include the iconic GM building.

Marine Week is an event hosted by the United States Marine Corps in one city per year, is a celebration of Community, Country and Corps – providing the American public the experience of directly connecting with hundreds of Marines.

This graphic was created to help promote the event and was used in online advertising.
