A volunteer donates platelets Feb. 14, 2017, at Armed Services Blood Bank Center-San Antonio facility at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The facility supports service members in Afghanistan, Iraq, San Antonio Military Medical Facility and the local Veterans Affairs hospital.
