171215-N-FT956-1630 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Dec. 15, 2017) Utitiliesmen Benjamin Rebs (left) observes the Crew Leader Builder 3rd Class Connley Davis, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, while making adjustments on the footers for the Shwap Project. Once the footers are set in the correct location they can begin staking and backfilling to secure them into position. NMCB 4 is forward deployed to the pacific, ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations, and provide general engineering support to Navy, Marine Corps, and joint operational forces.
