U.S. Sailor LT Tonya Lozier, a physician assistant with the Shock Trauma Platoon, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command, stabilizes a simulated injury to a French Soldier in a mass casualty exercise while at Al Qa’im Forward Operating Base, Iraq, Dec. 13, 2017. Members of the Shock Trauma Platoon with Combat Logistics Detachment 5 conducted the casualty evacuation exercise with French coalition service members to stay proficient in the triage, care and transportation of patients to a higher echelon of care.
