Cpl. Brandon Stowers loads a light utility vehicle into a CH-53E Super Stallion during an aerial transport exercise here May 24. This is the first time that the Expeditionary Fire Support System has been loaded into an aircraft on the West Coast. Stowers, 23, a Metropolis, Ill., native, serves with Battalion Landing Team 3/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
