U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Cornell Turrentine, 145th Civil Engineer Squadron, reviews the use of the gas mask drinking tube during Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRN) training held at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Jan. 8, 2018. During CBRN environments Airmen may be required wear Mission Oriented Protective Posture gear for extended periods, the drinking tube allows them to stay hydrated during these times.
