NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del.- Senior Master Sgt., Ret., Charles Reed, former command post non-commissioned officer in charge, 166th Airlift Wing, was tacked on with chevrons for the rank of Chief Master Sergeant by his daughters on January 7, 2018. Reed received the rank of Honorary Chief Master Sergeant during a retirement ceremony held in his honor; his career spans 37 years of service in the Delaware Air National Guard.
