Caped crusaders, space pilots, and robed muggles descended upon Wizard World in Chicago. This re-imagining of Spider-Man #1 paid homage to comics during the show.
The original image was a rough sketch of a soldier in dynamic pose that was scanned into Photoshop. The image was then painted using only Photoshop colors and filters. The background was created from a stock image used to define the shape and placement of a helicopter door. The sky and helicopter was created by drawing over the original image through multiple levels until the original image was no longer required and proper arrangement was in place. Image finally flattened and Army logo was added as per requirement by Army branding.
