U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joseph Roach, a structural journeyman assigned to the 557th Expeditionary Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE) Squadron, digs a hole for a new structure that will house an aircraft maintenance unit at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Dec. 20, 2017. The 557th ERHS has over 200 Airman that specialize in jobs that include heavy equipment operators; heating, ventilation, air conditioning technicians; structures specialists; electricians and plumbers, deployed across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
