SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 18, 2018) Machinist's Mate 1st Class Francisco Cejajimenez, uses a furnace inspection device to check the interior of the No. 2 boiler in the forward main machinery room of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
