Soldiers assigned to the 4th Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade familiarize themselves with the Russian PKM Machine Gun during rotation 18-03 at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La., Jan. 19, 2018. The Russian PKM Machine Gun is heavily utilized by the Afghan National Army – the foreign Army the 1st SFAB is slated to train, advise, assist, accompany and enable during their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in spring of 2018.
