PALO SECO, Puerto Rico – Anthony Certeza, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers forklift operator, stages hundreds of transformers for immediate delivery, Jan. 21 2018, outside of the Palo Seco warehouse operated by the USACE Task Force Power Restoration. Certeza, a material technician from the Nashville district, along with team members off loaded hundreds of transformers critical to repairing Puerto Rico’s damaged power grids. In addition to transformers USACE’s Task Force Power Restoration is expected to receive approximately 3,746 poles and 1,250 miles of conductor in the next 13 days.
