Rafael Maryahin, the battalion commander of a simulated Marine Corps infantry battalion, uses the antenna of his radio to point out a specific location to Marine Air Ground Task Force Tactical Warfare Simulation terminal operator Lance Cpl. Chris R. Trader May 26 during the command post exercise of African Lion 2011. The Marines, both of 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, 4th Marine Division, a Marine Corps reserve unit headquartered in Baltimore, participated in the nine-day command post exercise with counterparts from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces in order to increase interoperability of the two nations’ militaries.
