Pfc. Michael Prince, an infantryman with Detachment 4th Force Reconnaissance Company, pulls himself from the water during a run, fin, run training event at Davie Point, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 22, 2018. The event consisted of a two km fin and a 2.5 mile run, which had to be completed in less than 90 minutes. The unit’s training program aims to prepare students for the stresses of the Basic Reconnaissance Course by offering a broad, realistic curriculum, challenging them both mentally and physically.
