A Royal Thai Marine and U.S. Marine Cody Burkhardt remove a wooden bridge from the area after a pillar raising ceremony in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 at Wat Khlong Plu School in Chanthaburi Province, Kingdom of Thailand, Jan. 24, 2018. Burkhardt is a combat engineer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, and is a native of Pittsburg, Missouri. The ceremony marked the official start of engineering civic assistance projects for the exercise.
