Daniel Jones, a Billings, Mo., native, now a command post node team chief with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, fires a German P8 9 mm pistol during a German Army weapons qualification called Schutzenschnur at Forward Operating Base Kunduz, Afghanistan. More than 100 Vanguard participated in the event.
