MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division provide transportation to Marines with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines and Western Army Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force Soldiers as part of a live fire drill during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 26. Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral training exercise where U.S. and Japanese service members train together and share techniques, tactics and procedures to improve their combined operational capabilities.
