Marines with Charlie and Weapons Companies, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, Task Force Belleau Wood, stand on the firing line of a training range on Camp Leatherneck, June 4. The Marines qualified on the range after classroom instruction was given on the components and functions of the M1014 combat shotgun. The shotgun is employed for close combat and de-escalation scenarios.
