    SAN DIEGO (Feb. 2, 2018) The amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) transits San Diego Bay while returning to its Naval Base San Diego homeport following their first operational deployment. America, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is returning from a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific and Middle East.
