Charleston, S.C. (February 01, 2018) Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic Deputy Executive Director William Deligne stresses the value of the Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) as an enabler of rapid research and prototyping and increased access to innovative commercial solutions. SSC Atlantic and Pacific leadership hosted an Industry Day where they also shared information about new contracting opportunities using Other Transaction Authority (OTA) as an alternative to the traditional acquisition process. SSC Atlantic develops, acquires and provides life cycle support for command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, information technology and space capabilities. A leading-edge Navy engineering center, SSC Atlantic designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the finest frontline C4ISR systems in use today, and those being planned for the future.
