A U.S. Marine assigned to Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 466 conducts a regular maintenance check on the Cobra aircraft on the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in Okinawa, Feb. 3, 2018. The maintenance check ensures the aircraft is prepared for deployment aboard ship for Cobra Gold 18. Cobra Gold 18 is the 37th iteration and designed to advance regional security by exercising a robust multinational force sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia – Pacific region.
