Soldiers of Task Force Darby and 1st Battalion, 87 Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, volunteer at the American Corner in Garoua, Cameroon. This event, led by the U.S. Dept. of State, gives Americans and Cameroonians an opportunity to exchange culture and experiences. Pfc. Danielle Hitchcock, Spc. Zachary Saxton, Sgt. Michael Hopkins, Staff Sgt. Christopher Wade, 1st Lt. Gabriel Saren, Cpl. Kawika Endozo, and Pvt. Jacob Roca volunteer at the American Corner in Garoua. TF Darby serve members are serving in a support role for the Cameroonian Military’s fight against the violent extremist organization Boko Haram.
