Col. Anthony Ardovino, outgoing chief of staff, 1st Marine Logistics Group, speaks to the crowd at his retirement ceremony held to commemorate his 29 years of service in the Marine Corps on Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 3. Ardovino joined the Marine Corps in December 1982 after graduating from the University of Alabama.
