The DAISY Award celebrates nurses who provide extraordinary compassionate and skillful care every day. NHP expanded the award to include corpsmen, who work side by side with nurses and doctors to provide care to patients. DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System and award is a national program to recognize exceptional nurses.
