A U.S. Marine with 3rd Squad, 1st Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, radios in for air support during their secuity patrol in Marjah, Afghanistan, Jan. 31. The Marines with Lima Company 3/9 conduct security patrol in search for Improvised Explosive Devices and enemy threats around the area of operation.
