Iraqi field artillery crew members from 105th Field Artillery Regiment, 5th Iraqi Army Division, establish a firing position for their M198 155mm howitzer at Kirkush Military Training Base, Diyala province, Iraq, May 9. During the course of the field artillery training cycle, instructors broke the Iraqi unit into groups and provided advanced training on proper techniques to serve as a gun-crew member, fire direction operator, or forward observer.
