180116-N-YM002-025 IWAKUNI, Japan (Jan. 16, 2018) U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, conducts a cross-country flight from their base at Naval Air Facility Atsugi to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni to conduct . The Island Knights’ Detachment 6, which is based out of Naval Air Facility Atsugi, met with pilots and aircrew of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA-121), who pilot the F-35B Joint Strike Fighter, to share expertise on close-air-support procedures and overall interoperability of flight operations to support the Expeditionary Strike Group.
