U.S. Army Capt. Frederick Sherman, right, escorts Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Col. Eiji Shimamori to an Air Defense Artillery site during a tour Jan. 30 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. Throughout the tour, the soldiers explained six different crucial pieces of the training site. Those included: an engagement control station, a radar station, an electronic power plant, antenna mast group, a patriot launching station and missile segment enhancement launching station.
