Craig Carrington, chief of the Nashville District's Plan Formulation Section, was recognized on February 10, 2018 by Recovery Field Office commander Lt. Col. Roberto Solorzano for his work while deployed to Puerto Rico for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane Maria/Hurricane Irma response. During his deployment, Carrington was the mission manager who coordinated and initiated repairs to 96 storm-damaged critical public facilities, including hospitals, fire and police stations. As of February 9, USACE-managed contractors had completed 36 critical public facilities projects. He is a resident of Franklin, Tennessee.
